It all started in 2009, when I had quit my job and left my daily responsibilities behind me. For one year, my home were the villages, mountains, markets, temples, and beaches of southeast Asia – China, Tibet, Nepal, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, and wherever my travels led me. I fell in love with Asia and have returned every year since then. On occasion I'll post from other parts of the world too.
Longest bamboo bridge I have ever seen, it spans an arm of the Mekong to reach a kind of party island in the river. People love blinking color LEDs. But there are also serene Buddhist and Khmer temples, a short tuk-tuk ride away.
