Normally I travel without much of a plan, deciding every day where I go next. That doesn’t work in Madagascar because there isn’t much of a transport network and what there is is not well maintained, distances are large, and many options just aren’t on the Internet.
I found this agency, https://remoterivers.com, that worked out all the details of my Andingitra trek and Morondova, and found my fabulous driver, Fabrice. All customized to my interests and schedule. I really dislike joining a tour group with a preset itinerary. They even managed to book flights for me that I was unable to find. Everything worked flawlessly.
So, if you find yourself in Madagascar wondering where the lemurs and the baobabs are, give them a call!
